We had Listed our vehicle for transport on central dispatch thru our broker. The vehicle was sold thru copart in Scranton Pennsylvania . John Dorson of Dorsons auto transport agreed to accept the load. 2 days later We received a phone call on our business location. The driver John was calling to say that the vehicle was not able to be loaded onto his truck unless he puts it on the top deck above his cab and he will need additional $200 to haul our Junk he says. He proceeds to tell my desk staff that the car has no wheel on it and the engine is bad so his extra efforts will require additional funds. I spoke with John and advised that we dont have a forklift capable of picking up a automobile from the top deck of the semi . He was very rude and used terms that were inappropriate. I remand calm and said that you may not be the best one to transport this load and that we would send someone else to collect the 2010 volkswagen beetle. after asking what happened to the missing wheel ? since the photos we have show all four wheels intact. He says well its there but has a broken ball joint. His diagnostic skills are impressive how he is so aware of a vehicle hes on seen visually on top of a fork lift. he stated that we would need to pay him $200 for wasting his time. we reminded him that on the listing contract it clearly states we dont pay a dry run fee. He proceeds to say that we will pay him 200 or we will not recieve the title of the car. After he start to repeatly swear and insult I hung up the telephone. This indivual has some serious anger management issues and should not be hired to do this Job if he lashes out over such a basic and routine situation. We had to pay for a duplicate title since we refused to be blackmailed by john Dorson
