This tow company charges seven cents times whatever your gross vehicle haul weight limit is. In this case, the truck and trailer is 80,000 pounds.
They charged us $5600.00 irrespective of the fact that the trailer was empty and they did three hours of work and was asked to tow semi truck up steet 1 block to a gas station.
I don't want anyone to go through what I've gone through using this company.
Get price quotes first in advance! Some tow truck companies are ready to put you out of business because they will keep your equipment if you don't pay these inflated amounts and, by statute, if you don't pay, they can.
So I would never again use those people even if they were the only available towing company. They are an incredible nightmare waiting to happen. I believe they'll make your situation worse.
