We contracted A.S.A.P Transport LLC to transport a 2020 Mercedes-Benz G550 from Cincinnati, OH to River Forest, IL. We paid more money to have the vehicle shipped in an enclosed trailer in an effort to protect it during transit. However due to the driver's negligence the wheel cover of the G550 was damaged by the rear trailer door. The damage was notated on the bill of lading upon delivery and the driver immediately acknowledged it was his fault. Since then the company has decided not to take responsibility for the damages and has completely ignored the bill of $1,307 from AutoNation Collision Center in Westmont, IL. We attempted to file a claim through the carrier's insurance but they will not cover anything below their deductible amount of $2,500. The owner of A.S.A.P. Transport has been extremely disrespectful throughout the process and has blatantly said his company is not paying a dime towards the repair. This company does not deserve to be in the industry for their bad business practice and we strongly recommend not working with them. We suggest driving your vehicle from point A to point B before entrusting it with one of their unprofessional drivers. They deserve negative stars.
