Their insurance company, Canal, said that west coast was liable for 1,400 in damages to my vehicle during transit. They have refused to pay, will not return my emails or my calls. Do not trust them with your vehicle!

First, I'll say my vehicle arrived safely.. just not to the requested address. Door to door service is advertised but did not happen.
My vehicle was picked up on a flat bed with no issue and then transferred to a car carrier. I was told I'd receive my vehicle at my home on April 2. I tried to call West Coast Auto Transport that day for an update. No answer.
On April 3, while I'm at work, I receive a call that my vehicle will arrive between 2-6 pm that day. Fine. My wife is at home with the money and paperwork. Driver calls and started that he will not drive into my neighborhood (a loop easily accessed by semis). I told him the only other option would be Downtown Charleston where I work and he agrees. I have him the address for a market that can easily be accessed by a large truck. He stated he'd be there in 2 hrs. Plenty of time for me to get there money order and paperwork.
Not 30 minutes later, he calls and says he's arrived. I had to get ANOTHER money order after he threatened to impound my vehicle for making him wait.
When my coworkers and I arrive, the truck is nowhere to be seen. He parked 3 blocks away from the secondary address given. My vehicle has an expired registration and I was required to drive 15 miles home because he refused to drop off my vehicle. Why could the logistics company not provide a flat bed to bring my vehicle to my home? I've attempted to contact the company with no success so I've resorted to reviews. Disappointed in service considering I chose to ship with a more expensive company.

The driver, Vitaly, went into my car, took my e-z pass, which I had forgotten to remove, and used it on toll roads on the days he drove through Illinois. He ran up a bill of $75.03, and left it for me to pay.
He did transport the car across the country in 8 days. That is why I give this company 1 star.
