I contracted with Montway Auto Transport (a broker) to move my car from Naples, FL to Glendale, AZ. They brokered the transport to J & L Enclosed Auto Transport. The car was picked up by J & L on a Saturday and estimated to be delivered the following Saturday. I tried several times to contact J & L dispatch and the truck driver, on the numbers provided, to get an update on the delivery. No answer. I left a message for both. No return call. Had to contact Montway who contacted them and got my updates. My car wasn't delivered until Monday, 9 days after being picked. Upon arrival at my home, I walked around the car to check for damage. I didn't notice a small dent in the drivers side rear hubcap until I was detailing the car the next day late afternoon. I contacted Montway the following day and reported the damage. They told me that I didn't report the damage for 2 days. However, I was welcome to file a claim and Montway would mediate for me. I supplied all the information requested by Montway including the cost to replace the hubcap ($94.00+). A couple of days later, I received an email from the car's manufacturer with information on a replacement hubcap. I followed up with a purchase of that hubcap for great deal less ($21.62) than the original cost submitted. I forwarded the information and receipt to Montway. Montway submitted the amount and receipt copy to J & L. Montway waited for a reply from J & L concerning my claim. Montway contacted J & L several times with no reply. At this point I told Montway it is not worth my time to pursue the claim. J & L has proven that they will not communicate with the customer or broker. Nor, will they even give consideration to a claim. Poor customer and broker relations. I will not be using J & L for any future transportation needs.

I went through a broker and they were my transporter. I didn't have any issues like other people did, maybe because I used a broker. My vehicle came as promised. Not sure why the other customers had an issue. But they are professionals and have been doing this for a long time. I would use them again! :)

The delivery was over a week late. The dispatcher was very unprofessional, and kept pushing the date back for the delivery. When I would try to call her, she would tell me that she was in the hospital and was too sick to talk. I asked her for someone else’s number that I could contact, and she just ignored my request. The delivery ended up costing me way more money in the long run, than if I had gone with an established and reliable company. I will not be working with this company again.
