Wow, where do I begin with the incompetence of this company. The car was slated to go from the East Coast to the Midwest. When the driver arrived he parked partway in a ditch on the edge of a farm field across the street despite having a long flat driveway he could have pulled into. Add to that the car was in a pole barn directly behind the end of the driveway. When he tried driving the car onto the trailer because of the slope where he parked, he drove off the side of the ramps. He then asked my father, who was there at the time as I was unavailable, to use his van to pull the car back into a position so that he could get it on. First, my father should never have agreed to this, as it was obviously not his responsibility to get it loaded. Second, he never gave him a bill of lading, which at the time neither of us realized was something they’re required to give. Well in the process of helping this guy get the car on the trailer, my dad bent the door jam on his van, which meant the door then wasn’t able to close, and which ended up taking several weeks and approximately $4K to repair. The car itself being transported also received significant damage from the roll off the ramps. One of the park lights and lower quarter panels were damaged, as well as a tire blown and lots of damage to a bunch of brand new parts underneath the car like exhaust, headers, oil pan, mufflers, etc. Since the driver arrived in the evening and it was getting dark at this point, he said he would return in the morning with a tire to replace the blown out one and get the car on it’s way. My dad is older and unfortunately does not have or use a cell phone and so never got any pics or video of these events. The next morning my dad showed up at the arranged time and waited at least an hour and surprise, the driver never showed up. Cont'd...
