The owner is pretty comfortable dropping the N bomb. I did 6 tow's and he stiffed me and only gave me 3. I had 1 1/2 hours of training then was thrown in a truck and sent out (I have prior towing experience). I didn't have time to check my truck and see what I had and didn't have. Its been years sense I've towed but I still remembered how to do it. I had to retrain on the app we use and the paperwork. I was told Id be 1099 but I didn't have to be if I didn't want to. and that if I didn't want to claim it on my taxes I didn't have to. I had to listen to him bad mouth the other drivers and how he was looking for a reason to get rid of one in particular. The following morning I decided that this isn't the type of company I want to work for so I let the owner know. I dropped everything off and put it in the truck and took pictures and sent it to him. Pay day comes around and I asked if he could just mail it to me and gave him my address even though he still had it from my resume and the paperwork I filled out. Being a smart ass he sent it to an old address of mine in Washington state. He knew my address and knew I lived 30 minutes from him. If he thought I drove all the way from Washington state to work for him then drove all the way back when I got off, this may not be the best company to work for. He's a tough guy on text message but as soon as I told him I was going to write a review he said he would cancel that check and I could come pick a new one up at his place. then he said he could bring it over to my place because he has my actual address now. mind you, I have filled paperwork out with him with my address on it. if I could give 0 stars I would but I couldn't submit this without giving him at least 1. Don't waste your time with this guy. Just another individual who shouldn't be in business. And I'm surprised COPART does business with him especially sense he is so comfortable dropping the N bomb.
