HORRIBLE... DO NOT USE!! I called 10-4 Tow, San Leandro who sent a tow truck driver from PORTILLO TOWING. 10-4 Tow calls are recorded, and when I called on Saturday, 5/22/21 at 10:32 am (6min 6sec) "the driver will call you before he arrives." Then I called back at 11:03 am (3min 32sec) to inquire of the status of the tow "give him a 1/2 hr and he will call you" I never received a call. I called back again at 11:52 am (6min 26sec) "give him 5 or 10 min, he will call you" Never received a call, instead he showed up at 12:20pm. He hooked my car up, asked for my credit card which I said I gave that info to the lady on the phone, and his reply was" oh, that's just for information she doesn't charge the card." I then asked him how much will the tow be, and his reply was "$500.00". He said nothing about a convenience fee when I handed him my credit card, or any mention of other charges. Put my card into a card reader/phone type, and had me sign but there was nothing visible as the sun was shining down on it. NO RECEIPT WAS PROVIDED OR OFFERED. He took off right after that transaction was completed. BTW, I am 61-year old single woman, stranded in an industrial park, and the driver said I would have to call for a ride. Such class! The whole thing (hook up & payment info) took 15 minutes and he ends up arriving just before I did at the drop off destination. As I arrived at 1:28 pm, your company is calling me to find out where to put the car, when I gave him a specific location of where to put it before he left. Your driver/company took advantage of a elderly woman, and added fees onto the $500. I have been calling your company since Sunday, 5/23/21 about the charges, and all I get is a made up receipt from Ms. Pena, and no phone calls as I requested.

The tow truck driver did not give me a sufficient receipt in order to get a reimbursement from AAA. I have called numerous times; no one at the company has returned my call.
