BEWARE: this place just ripped me off. I'm passing through the area and needed my serpentine belt replaced. Called around and this was the only place that could fit me in today. The owner Ryan was courteous and I was appreciative that he could help on short notice. I dropped off my van and forgot to get a quote, realizing my mistake but thinking it would be okay. The belt costs $30 at the auto parts store and the work should take half an hour at most. He charged me $60 for the belt and 1.5 hours labor at $95 per hour, $220 total. The average cost for a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 serpentine belt replacement is between $131 and $159. Labor costs are estimated between $91 and $116 while parts are priced between $40 and $43. He told me it was an expensive high quality belt from Napa. I drove straight to Napa and two employees looked at that belt and said it was not from Napa and would cost $25. One of the employees was a mechanic and said it would have taken him 20 minutes and he would have charged me $100 total. I went back, trying to offer him the chance to make it right, trying not to be rude and reiterating that I appreciated him fitting me in, but he said he went off the "book" for labor cost and every mechanic marks up the price for parts. I went back to ask his name for the review and he said "Ryan, do you want me to write it down for you?" Learn from my mistake and don't go here!
